Phantom 4 RTK: Enterprise Shield Renewal
Get one more year of coverage while you can!
If you purchased your Phantom 4 RTK in the past year, it would have come with an Enterprise Shield plan from DJI which is essentially a collision policy for your drone. If you crash your drone DJI will replace it with a refurbished drone for a $299 deductible. But once that year is up, you will not have this coverage anymore, and a full replacement cost for the Phantom 4 RTK is $8,500.
The good news is, you can purchase another year of coverage through DJI. DJI calls this Enterprise Shield Renew. Enterprise Shield Renew extends the protection for your Phantom 4 RTK.
Most surveyors have Enterprise Shield Basic, and so you will be eligible for Enterprise Shield Basic Renew which includes one $299 replacement if damage occurs to your product within one year, and the official warranty period of the product will be extended at least 12 months.
If you are already enrolled in Enterprise Shield, DJI should email you directly a few weeks prior to the expiration of Enterprise Shield to offer you Enterprise Shield Renew. Enterprise Shield Renew can be purchased through DJI for $399 and will extend this coverage for another year.
There are a few criteria that need to be met in order to qualify for Enterprise Shield Renew;
You must have at least one replacement left within your current Enterprise Shield coverage period (DJI will not renew coverage to those who have used both replacements)
You must enroll in Enterprise Shield Renew BEFORE your Enterprise Shield lapses.

Enterprise Shield provides protection for your DJI Enterprise products. Offering two different coverage options: Enterprise Shield Basic or Enterprise Shield Plus. Both cover replacement aircraft for accidental damage such as crashing, water damage, or signal interference.
What’s Covered?
Replacement units are provided for: Crash & Collision Damage, Signal Interference, and other accidents caused by User Error. DJI will replace your aircraft even if its water damaged.
What’s included with Enterprise Shield Renew?
The coverage is virtually the same as the first year of Enterprise Shield except it only offers 1 replacement within the time period instead of 2.
It also includes an extended component warranty period. On all DJI drones, the factory warranty is 6 months. This covers any malfunctioning component on the drone that is not due to crash damage or user error. With Enterprise Shield Renew, the factory component warranty is extended to 2 years from the date of original activation.
*It is important to note that you can only purchase the same level of plan that you had originally; for those who have “Enterprise Shield Basic”, you can only renew to “Enterprise Shield Basic Renew”. For those who have “Enterprise Shield Plus”, you can only renew to “Enterprise Shield Plus Renew”.
How do I get it?
To see if you qualify for Enterprise Shield Renew, your drone Serial Number needs to be submitted to DJI for review. For the Phantom 4 series, the aircraft Serial Number can be found inside the battery compartment.
